What we store, what a customer sees when they scan, and how you get your data back out. Written plainly, because you are about to put your product records in someone else’s system.
A scan resolves to a public verification page that shows only the fields you have chosen to publish for that product — typically authenticity status, product name, batch, manufacture and expiry.
Product, batch, serial and scan data lives in your account and is visible only within it. Traffic is served over HTTPS, and data is encrypted at rest by the managed database and storage services we run on.
Nothing you create is locked in. Batches, serials, scan history and compliance reports can be exported at any time, in formats you can hand to a partner or load into another system.
TrueGTIN is pay-as-you-go. There is no subscription, no minimum term and no notice period, so there is nothing to cancel if you stop using it — you simply stop issuing serials.
A free account costs nothing, takes no card details, and you can export or delete everything you create.
